Kindergarten sharing their story.

Students in Kindergarten combine traditional learning with technology in the same ways as older students. The camera is the most useful tool. Students learn to take photos of things they create: math patterns, Lego creations, pictures they've drawn, etc. In Kindergarten, students share iPads and photos of students on the home screen identify who uses which device. This system allows students to collect their work in one place.  Here are two videos of Kindergarten students talking about using iPads in their classroom.

Paper Plate Puppets - Puppet Pals from ACS Hillingdon on Vimeo.

Three students made some paper plate puppets. They had been introduced to Puppet Pals by some third grade students and asked to use the app. They were asked to write down how they created the puppet show and were then interviewed. When asked what was the best part of the project they replied: 'MAKING THE PUPPETS!'
